..and just for my own personal nostalgia, pictures of this interior are a little rare, and my Finlandia green Lancia Beta Coupe many years ago, was complimented by this rarher garish "gold" interior :-D

Very nice too Neil!!
Here's a real beauty that I nearly bought many moons ago, I traded one and nearly kept it, but it would have broken the bank or killed me on the road I expect! :-D

Top of the tree for desirability in the Citroen empire? But does the SM have an interior/dash to match?

I think it fits the challenge in terms of outright Citroen quirkiness but for me the body styling and, of course, the engine are what attract me to the SM. I like a lot of cars across the board but the SM, the DB5 and the Integrale will always be my most sought after machines for the sheer presence each of them has!! =P~ =P~ =P~

I am NOT convinced it is a Ferrari, as it does not have the classical Ferrari gearbox gate.

Possibly a Fiat Dino with a Ferrari badge and a steering wheel from a Sunseeker super Yacht, the steering wheel puts me off

That (according to a Google search) is a Momo steering wheel.

Interesting ideas, as far as I remember the car is standard apart from that wheel/badge but that is not completely wrong!! :-D

It could indeed Neil, it's got the right wheels! :-D

Plus of course it has the reason for the Ferrari badge on the wheel, a Ferrari V8 under the bonnet!! :-D
