What I know about BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Bugatti, and Mclaren instrument clusters could be written on the back of a very small postage stamp :-D

Its fair to say that this little car was much maligned, particularly in its latter days as the hot hatches superceded the appeal of the rattly old two seater sports. Now though, for me anyway what a joy to see one (even in brown!), undoubtedy the stand-out vehicle in the full car park. Sorry Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, BMW not even close.

Now we have an I spy an ugly SUV thread, but if the Citroen C5 Aircross brochure is accurate comfort is key in its interior. They even have 3 levels of interior ambiance.
Expressing yourself on the inside is made easier thanks to a range of interior ambiances.

The standard ambiance on Feel versions is understated and refined, with Grey Silica Cloth seats.

Refined and subtle, the Metropolitan Grey Ambiance brings you grey grained leather and graphite cloth seats with a lighter grey band, combined with a centre console and dashboard top in grey, standard on Flair and Flair Plus.

The ultimate choice is the Hype Brown Ambiance. This has brown Nappa leather with black leather effect cloth seats and a light grey alcantara band. Centre console, dashboard top and instrument panel visor are brown. A black and brown full grain leather steering wheel adds a real touch of luxury.

One of the best interiors and one of the reasons I prefered the C4 VTS over my XM. I think the Citroen C4 first gen is an under rated car, it has all the quirky originality of Citroen at its best especially in Coupe (3 door) form. It looks like nothing else on the road inside or out...

In this pic you can see the steering wheel fixed boss with all the controll where you know they will stay, the large central digital speedo, so easy to read at all times, the interesting textures that do not attempt to emulate leather on the dash and the Art Deco swoopy shapes on the door cards.

Another view showing the fixed steering wheel boss and the optional pan roof and supportive leather seats on this example. The standard seats have a mix of fabric, leather and alcantara and are really nice too.

The rear is just as plush as the front

Great view through the large windscreen and side windows

At night you really notice the LCD screens, all four of them

Then the best feature, the digital rev counter that goes red at the red line... (not sure if this link to my Instagram will work)

September 2018 one of these took my eye at the Brightwells Auction. Went for £7,480.

Lovely interior in my opinion.

Is that an HPE Neil? I like the dash and wheel but not so keen on the seats! :)
