Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 hdi glow plug relay location

Post by MulOnPomm »

Hello! I want to change the glow plug relay on my Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 hdi 2006, but I dont find it.

I have looked from the ECU bracket and behind the headlamps.

Can someone tell me where it is located or can share a image where the location is shown?

Hi, im just curious of why you think the glow plug relay needs replaced? There cant have been any testing of it done if you can’t locate it??
The relay is normally either bolted to the ECU bracket or behind the L/H headlamp. Not sure what you are expecting to see but on the 1.6 model it doesn’t look like a ‘traditional’ glow plug relay with bolted connections, it just looks like a bigger version of a regular relay with a blue slide connector.

I found a Youtube video where Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 hdi glow plug relay is placed where you said:

Unfortunately on my Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 hdi I dont see such relay in that location:

I will defenetly do some testing if I will locate the relay.

Check on the bracket that the ECU is mounted on.
