Re: C5 Anti-pollution system fault
Make that 10 years
Just thought to share my experiences with other frustrated drivers.
Reading some old posts on this and this remark struck me:
Two different garages here in the Czech Republic came with several different fault codes. One checked with Lexia. Both said that it was not sure that replacing the sensors etc would help at all, but for sure it would cost a lot.
As said, I am driving over five years with this, about 120 000 km, and no problem but this irritating ritual.

For FIVE years, I occasionally get this "Faulty Depollution System" (and many other C5 drivers have as well). In my case, this almost always happens when I am lower on fuel AND acceleration in a turn, especially when passing (quick left and back). Light goes on, CC goes out, top power is out as well. Stop the car, switch off, switch back on: light stays on but top power is back and CC is functioning. After a few times driving, stopping switching off, next day continuing, light is off as well.Richard Stevens wrote: 13 May 2012, 22:27 ...... Accelerating on a roundabout, on came the beep and the warning .....
