Mick i have to respond in the only way i know how, you used the term SWMBO in your early post, it is a term that says more in 5 letters than i have typed replying and it is a term used with affection by those that use it :)

On to the minor matter of your local shop, i am sure if explained they would be more than happy to try to help you, they may not normally supply it, but i am sure they could, and whilst SWMBO is there she could have a wander round and see what else they stock, hence the "may cost Mick" bit but then that's life :)

Or even Amazon? I buy items of vegan stuff I need that our local Tesco do not stock from there...

One item in particular being nutritional yeast... It tastes just like mature cheese and allows me to enjoy vegan cheese scones :D

It's also very rich in B vitamins...

Amazon also provided stuff that was unobtainable locally during the last lockdown and was a good source of flour...

SWMBO has come up trumps today, in view of the cheese issue she decided on a 9 mile round trip to Morrison's in Welwyn Garden City and lo and behold:

Let's hope they don't follow Tesco and change the packaging!! :-D

The mischievous side of my nature motivated me into sending this to Tesco with the picture attached:

Hello John,
Thanks again for your interest and the time you have taken to deal with the issue. I'm not sure whether you will be pleased or frustrated to hear that my partner has found the solution to my problem. See attached.

Best regards
