I know it's a bit rude to jump straight in with a question, but here goes:
I've fitted a few ES9 engines to things but now have a ES9 J4S fitted to a buggy. It's all in and ready to go apart from the wiring. I have a couple of diagrams that look like they're correct but the cable ID's don't match the loom I have. It doesn't help that I don't have any donor details and the loom beyond the engine compartment has been butchered. I'm hoping to get the immo taken off the ECU as well as the BSI deleted, but before I get that far, I need a good wiring diagram.
Can anyone help?!
Thanks.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram.
It may help if you post the part numbers from the ECU that you have.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram.
If you give the full part numbers, it may be possible to determine the donor vehicle and find a wiring diagram.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram.
To find the spot-on wiring diagram, the VIN of the original vehicle would be needed.
The same engines were fitted to more than one vehicle, and over time, for each one, the wiring underwent changes.
Will do our best, though.
In absence of a VIN, even an exact model and year would help - or even a reg.no.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram.
I bought the engine with no other details. Just the engine, loom, ECU, BIS and a bit of the body loom. I have no other details.
However, I started to pin-out the ECU and body-loom connector. I just have the multi-relay to do and I think that's it. Next is to get the ECU immo removed.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram.
Are you using the transmission that came with the engine ECU? If not you may need to get the ECU re-flashed with the correct maps and parameters for the transmission.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram.
It's a manual box so I didn't think there was a gearbox ECU or 'box input for the engine ECU. I'll have another look tonight.
Thanks for the help so far.

Re: ES9 J4S wiring diagram and now immo and BIS removal...
I think I've cracked the wiring and now I have the engine turning off the key and the multi-relay clicking. The various other trinkets dotted about the engine are making the right sort of noises, so now I need to remove the immobiliser so it will run. I guess I also need to remove the need for the BIS unit?
Who do we suggest for such works?
Cheers
