Another entrant from me, "It is what it is." seems to have become the 'get out' for losers.

Oh dear!

Can I please fill room 101 with all those who insist on walking 5 or 6-abreast along woodland trails totally blocking them and then look daggers at you when you politely greet them with a cheery 'Good Morning!' and ask them if one may please pass?

Most frustrating when running and even more inconsiderate given the requirement for social distancing...

Happily those are rare and I'd like to say a huge thanks for the vast majority of small groups who move aside to allow a clear socially-distanced pass, often with words of encouragement :)

the phrase "World Leader" "Leading the World" "World Leading"

Yes when Usain Bolt in his prime crossed the line after running 100 metres, time after time beating all-comers I concede that such a decription may have been warranted.

On all other occasions it is usually BS

Can I add to Jim's lot, cyclists who ride two or three abreast on main roads. :-D

Also interviewees and presenters on tv who cant talk without waving their arms about like demented windmills. I keep thinking 'for gawd's sake sit on your hands.'

Interviewers who do not understand that, when they are interviewing somebody, it is the interviewee who is important (and their answers/opinions) and NOT the interviewer. They obviously have not attended The Michael Parkinson School of Interviewer Training.

As I am here I will deposit the NHS contracted builders who built our house in 1963.

Since moving in 12 years ago I have had to turn the central heating pump round so the water flow was in the right direction, rewire the upstairs ring so it was a ring and not a pair of rings off a Y tee, replace the ceilings in two rooms due to plumbing issues between the floors, replace the internal doors so they all match and replace ground floor floorboards with ones of the same thickness throughout. On top of that four of the main first floor joists were twisted and I had to plate them when the ceiling came down one Christmas Eve! Lastly we have continuous joists running through our house and the attached neighbours, meaning we can hear and feel much of the movement next door!! GRRRRRRR!

Or when Vanessa Feltz stands in for Jeremy Vine, midday on Radio 2. I don't listen any more, as (while she is a nice person and a reasonable presenter) if the interviewee does not give the answer SHE wants to hear she will badger them mercilessly. There are now people who (on being told they will be interviewed by her) will refuse the interview.

One of my pet hates and the reason I never watch the news and many other things on TV.

Prince Charles was one of the worst offenders.

Jeremy Vine... A first-rate miserabilist

I was forced to listen to the whingy, whiny, depressing waste of oxygen snowflake whilst having an MRI scan on my brain.

Later the medics said they could see the areas of my brain associated with anger and disgust clearly light up...

Not sure if it has already been mentioned but how about SHEDS, well more to the point mine.
Why is it that whatever i need i have to pull everything out to get to it, and then when i next go to find something i have to do the same thing again because when i put everything back after the last time i was in a rush and logic went out of the window and even though i know its in the bleedin shed cos i remember seeing it why cant i just open the door, walk in and pick it up .

So Sheds have to go in or maybe it should be me going into 101

Your debut in Room 101 Colin :?:

The beauty of the FCF 101 is that its your own Room 101, Your own personal depository. Or should I say a collection of personal depositories. There can be no concensus for deposits, its where you put in what gets on your own particular wick, regardless of whether the whole world has a different opinion.

So having made your debut, feel free to use Room 101 for whatever gets on your wick at any particular time. Cant imagine your own shed is the only thing!

I think a decent involuntary falling over stuff on the floor on more than one occasion when you are looking for stuff is the definition of a nicely randomly organised shed!
