Hi All,
Attached is the picture of the sump plug for my Citroen C3.
It's a C3 (A51) 5 DOOR SALOON 1.6 VTi 16v 120. It's a 2011 model.
Can anyone tell me what will be the right tool to loosen the plug for Oil flush?
I thought I could use a 21 size socket to loosen that up but looks like it needs a Torx type socket. Is that right?
Can anyone please confirm?
Thanks,
Kuber

It does! And that surprises me as most PSA small engine sump plugs use a square key in my experience...

Memory could be playing tricks with me but ISTR that I had the correct 3/8" drive key in my toolbox (to fit my socket set) and as I only have a 5mm and an 8mm it would have to be one of those. If pushed I would guess it's the 8mm.

I think it is probably a 10mm hex key.
That is what the THP engine takes.

You were right. It took an 8mm hex socket.Paul-R wrote: 21 Sep 2020, 21:13 Memory could be playing tricks with me but ISTR that I had the correct 3/8" drive key in my toolbox (to fit my socket set) and as I only have a 5mm and an 8mm it would have to be one of those.
