We should have got this from the clues Jim, when you say "no soft top" you could mean no top at all!! Smaller than a Saxo and not a 2CV, given your penchant for pedalling and the proud display of the double chevron surely it can only be:

Speaking of Zel, I made excellent progress today sandwiched between a lovely morning spent with Robyn and the afternoon rain

The next job is to fit new brake pads on the offside...
There's just one last job to do which I cannot do until the very end... So that I don't forget to do it I have left myself a reminder on the workbench!
It's been most enjoyable doing all this... I have been one very happy bunny
