C3 Will not start (translated from original)

Unread post by Ibjust »

hi I have a citroen c3 year 2005 1.4 in frame number: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. it will not start, and when I turn it on, the oil level comes with 6 flashing beams, which after the manual should mean malfunction. Have had a diagbox on but it comes with "permanent error". I would be happy if one had an electrical diagram of such a car. And maybe some have experience with this error ??

Hi - so you have a 1.4i 75 0TU3JP Petrol.

Best thing to do is check the oil manually, using the dipstick. Make sure the car is on level ground and check the engine oil is between MIN and MAX levels. You should not rely solely on the electronic gauge.

Hi GiveMeABreak oil level is checked standing in between, how can I measure if the switch is ok ?. it should just be mentioned that the car could not start when I bought it, just thought I could see the error with the diagbox and thus make it but no ??

So are you saying there are no errors with Lexia / Diagbox? You should be getting some fault code - or check the live data as you try to start it and see if the engine ECU is unlocked.

No I can get to permanent error which I can not delete as I do not really know where that permanent error lies, therefore I would like an electrical diagram.

Yes, but what is the actual error code? Of course you won't be able to delete the error if the problem is still there. We need to understand the fault first of all, so please put up the fault code.

Run Lexia, perform a Global Diagnostic and saee what codes are coming back, then list any here.
