Unread post by yksilver »

Hi all i have a citroen xsara picasso 1.6 petrol 2005

done all the usual niggly jobs fixed the loose boot handle
cleaned battery connections under seat
new washer pump

i bought the car with a central locking issue car locks fine on keyfob but when you click unlock it flashes the lights then nothing
no relay click no doors open

from past expirience i know this is the power board on the bsi and i know if i buy another bsi the power board can be swapped

this is out of my relm of been able to fix i cant even figure out how the bsi comes out

are their any members who could fix my bsi or fit and program a virgin bsi

willing to pay top dollar dont expect anything for free !

im in west yorkshire and care for my mum so cannot be without the car if no one here can do it for me il just leave it the way it is

thanks in advance for any help obviously im unable to send the bsi off

Hi Yksilver,

Have you been able to reset the BSI?
One of the Forum moderators has put forward the procedure here:

You might need to disconnect the battery for more than a half hour first ... to force a basic 'where am i' when you reconnect the battery. Then do BSI reset ...

Think that's correct.
