Our (soon to be replaced) C2 needs a new alternator, and as we're getting shot of it soon, a second hand one will do fine. There seems to be a variety fitted though. Am I pretty safe with "any" C2 alternator of is it all a bit specific due to electronic stuff? I seem to remember making enquiries at an alternator place a while ago and they thought it would be a 90A output one. Does that really matter? Ours is a 1.1 petrol, 56 plate. TYIA.

These can be from 60 to 80 Amp depending on specs / equipment.
The best thing you can do is identify the model number from your existing one and search on that.
