There was also an episode of Bonanza called "The Fear Merchants" which I watched this morning.
Season 1 Episode 20 Aired 30th January 1960.

Maybe could do with a re-run.....made me think "has nothing changed" since the 1860's quite a poignant episode.

Its on youtube if you want to find it

and just to keep it quzzical
What was the name of the character who was running for Mayor of Virginia City in "The Fear Merchants" :?:

Time for my weekly dive into my birthday quiz book, the subject is the Great North Road (GNR) between Brampton and Great Casterton:

1 Which pantomime hero famously travelled the GNR to find fortune in London? 10pts

2 Which railway line stops at Ferry Meadows? 10pts

3 The GNR was allegedly the escape route for which notorious highwayman who supposedly achieved what unlikely feat? 20pts

4 Which National Nature Reserve situated close to the A1(M) is an important lowland wood? 10pts

5 Which interchange on the A1 was once the site of a prisoner of war camp built during the Napoleonic Wars? 10pts

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
