My first encounter with a Vincent motor cycle was back when I first started work'

A young chap had been given a Vincent HRD for his sixteenth birthday, came in to fill it with petrol, shortly after there was the ringing of the ambulance bells and the police Jag Mk 5 screaming by.

The lad had pulled out onto the main road and been t-boned by a Norton out on a test run and was dead at the scene.

Nasty. Was that the Vincent 1000 that broke your legs if it fell over?

There really is some excellent items of interest on the FCF. Maybe when a 30 minute video is posted up, not many take the time to watch it all, but following Peter's reference to the Art-Deco former Peugeot Garage in Maidstone, and mentioning there were a few video's on it, I dug one out and have just watched the 30 Minutes.....I found it fascinating stuff. As the presenter was exploring the vacant building prior to redevelopment he was greeted with this sight towards the end of the video. A floor full of snooker tables........

Lets keep POTD ticking over. Here is a mushroom. Its a mushroom with red on the stalk, very red on the top, and normally flatter than this. Wonder what it is? All pics equally as good/bad as the rest

Those are the much sought after Strawberries and Cream mushrooms. A deadly poison unless there is a Z in the month.

I have also a mushroom picture:

In what we laughingly call our "lawn".

There are millions of them all over the estate at the moment. Fairies plant them.

I reckon it could be one of the Russulas, commonly known as a Bloody Brittlegill. Probably pounded and soggified by now by todays weather. High force would look good today though, plenty of peaty brown water thundering over the falls :-D Maybe not as fierce as in 2015 yet though

Did you just stumble on your Stinkhorn, or was it a deliberate quest :?:

Only ever seen one of those, mid seventies on my walk from work. Actually my mate pointed it out, I would have missed it. No pong whatsoever.
