Hello guys,
OK, i notice the following problem with my Picasso (2009): When in reverse gear (the gearbox is AL4) the engine revolutions won't go over 1950 anda massive loss of power. With fully pressed accelerator pedal still no more than 1950 revs. Any idea if this is a safety system or I have issues, because I can't take over an obstruction in reverse from stand still.

Overtaking in reverse?
Your reverse gear engine speed should be roughly the same as your 1st gear engine speed.

not overtaking a car. I mean a curb ramp with height 10cm for example. It's impossible to do it from standstill because the car lack revs and power

2000 RPM is a fairly typical torque converter stall speed, so would indicate that there is nothing dramatically wrong.
I think that the THP engines probably have a limit on the boost pressure at standstill to protect the transmission.
