Wasn't my inkling, but is there any street view or other evidence which corroborates your answer?

Well that is a very rapid and impressive 100 points...and with all the Taxi's having the L as the first letter pretty definitive in itself as I found out.

I was a bit thrown by the Citroen Dealer on the side of the C5 Taxi so my first and incorrect inkling was Bonn :-D

I believe bobins is right and the city is Leipzig.

Here is my evidence:

A comment from another viewer of the video on YouTube:

"S class in Leipzig is pretty rare but in Munich every third is a S class!"

Extract from Wiki confirming registration rules in Germany:

The number of letters in the city/region prefix code mostly reflects the size of the district. The basic idea was to even out the number of digits on all licence plates, because the largest districts would have more digits after the prefix for more cars. The largest German cities generally only have one-letter codes (B=Berlin, M=Munich, K=Cologne (Köln), F=Frankfurt, L=Leipzig, S=Stuttgart), most other districts in Germany have two or three letter codes. Therefore, cities or districts with fewer letters are generally assumed to be bigger and more important. Reflecting that, most districts tried to get a combination with fewer letters for their prefix code.[4]

Videos confirming those rules

Berlin:

Munich:

And finally of course the cars in our video have registrations beginning with 'L'

My case rests! :-D

Excellent additionals Mick :-D

I may have been closer if I hadnt just picked out the only German City I had heard of (Bonn) on the Citroen Dealers Website for Autohaus Heuter (as on the door of the Citroen C5 Taxi). Had I known their showroom at Wachau was very adjacent to Leipzig I may have fared better with my assumptions.

Not all quizzes have to be difficult and there's usually a bit of enjoyment and education in finding out the answers.

So heres 4 easy(ish) to research questions on what has become the subject of the day...Taxis. Did like the Beige Jaguar I-Paces Mick found in Munich :-D
1. Who owns the London EV Company Ltd churning out Electric Black cabs with range extenders in Coventry ( and sticking them together with glue) :?:
2. In which Country would you most likely find cabs with this colour scheme :?:
green and black
green and black
3. What is the link between Bob James and Angela and Taxi :?:

4 Who is this :?:
Connaît toutes les rues par coeur!
Connaît toutes les rues par coeur!

Have a go.....no draggings out, first come first served, no spoilers!

Yes Geely our Chinese friends own LEVC as well as Volvo. an yes back in 1984 we got taken on a pretty hair-raising taxi ride from Faro Airport to Armação de Pera in a green and black mercedes.

3 isnt the answer I have on my card but yes it relates to Taxi the Tv Series, and your answer is equally valid :-D

3. In that case I'm guessing you are looking for the song "Angela" written by Bob James and played on the TV show? :-D

Remember the quiz is on a Taxi theme.
There is a clue already there

"Connaît toutes les rues par coeur"

Do you want a little more? Try putting that phrase into DDG. Has a chance to come up with the answer I dont know. If it comes up with nothing try adding Taxi as an additional term.
