Thinking about this posting numbering I am on a hiding to nothing because I use inverted display. All posts on this page are currently on page 1 in my listing and as we move onto a new page they will become on page 2 as the new page will be page 1. At the other end the first post is currently on page 356 and will move to 357 when we start a new page. Thus all posts are fluid in this system because I like the latest post to be at the top when I select a topic. :)

I have just checked and this post has now pushed all posts down 1 step so the original post is now the only post on P357!!! (For me that is) :-D

I think what we need is a random picture Mick, by whatever method just a snapshot at the time. Sometimes you hit on words so maybe a simple random selection of a page and then pull out the best picture on the page.

Only requires less then 500 random numbers, or more packs of cards than most people have in the house!

I think we need to keep it visual!

Well my random selection turned up with page 30 and this gentleman needs no introduction.
For newer members of the forum this chap is a legend!

I really do love it :-D

This coming Friday I'm doing a kayak triathlon to raise a bit of money for our local hospice. A 1.5 mile paddle around a course set out on the lake, a 3 mile run around the lake and then a swim across the lake!

I originally posted this in my blog and now posting it here on Neil’s orders :)

Tried that and here's the result from Citrojim:

I took a recce ride to Stadium-MK this afternoon, the home of the MK Dons football team and the HQ for the MK Marathon on Monday.

I needed to confirm I knew the route and how long the ride would take on the morning of the marathon.

Both now nicely established... I'm cycling to and from the venue as there is no way I'm driving there...

On my way home I rode the scenic route and had to stop and get this picture of St. Marys Church in Woughton On The Green, an old village subsumed into the greater Milton Keynes...

I have to confess I rather like this picture...

Edit: Shame about the green wheelie-bin that photobombed the picture  I ought to have moved it...

My 3300th post has arrived already so a celebratory car is required, an obvious choice would be a Porsche 911 but since that is only a squashed Beetle with a big engine I can't possibly consider it!! (That's upset a few I bet  ) So I had a look around the options and since it has only got to be better than a 911 I chose a Kia!!

Had a change today, gave the thieving b£$%^ds in Gloucester a mis and went to Hereford instead, a much nicer place. :)

A few photos, an old pile and a newer pile, a double post box, free bike for hire and a load of bull.

Good pictures Gibbo. We were in Herefordshire a couple of years ago enjoyed the holiday. Funny how little things can leave you with an impression of a place. Gloucester gets tainted with your recent experience, and part of our recall of Hereford was a bit of argy bargy and shouting outside of a restaurant which looked like it was about to get out of hand, and the arrival of the police! Apart from that enjoyed our walk along the riverside!

Too easy for a proper whatsthisthen? too easily researched, but whats this odd bod? There is just a touch of acknowledgement to the 2CV and Mini in the "design". At the front it looks like the new Honda EV has nicked the look.
whatsthisthen?
