immobilizer fault

My key and immobilizer chip got broken, and only had one key. I had a new barrel and two keys so have swopped them over but now need to sync/program the new immobilizer chip to the car. any help on doing this? its an Xsara Picasso2.0 d 2002

You'll need to have the new transponder chips in the fobs / keys programmed to the vehicle using a Lexia or somebody with a suitable programming tool.

You'll need your confidential customer code (that should of been supplied with the car on a plastic car. If you don't have your code, a Citroen dealer can provide it to you for about £20-25 and proof of car ownership, and proof of identity / utility bill etc.

Just checking that the immobiliser chips are not second hand? If they are you wont be able to reprogram them to your car.
If you don't have access to Lexia any half decent auto locksmith should be able to extract the immobiliser code and program the chips for you.
