Re: Picture(s) of the day....
This is all I got yesterday.
A couple of floral displays (the town is full of them) and a landslip on the road between Chepstow and Tintern.
Ps. The green tent is part of the High Street Sunday market.

I am not a lover of the heat so I have been looking through my newly found memory stick for some cooling images:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Very nice. I am a lover of heat, just right at the moment - I hate the winter.

That Bodmin AA Box was located at what is now the picnic spot more or less in the middle of this map - top left of the 'Danger Area'.

Dropped the car at my son's and took the path through the park home.
I had seen last week that brambles looked well on their way.
They look pretty unimpressive today, the ripe ones snapped up by birds I expect.
Sampled one and they are sour

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I picked some from some bushes which were laden with large blackberries, on some wasteground near the charging point on Sunday. Getting put in a crumble so they should be sweet enough after that.
The family of Swans were back 2 adults and 6 cygnets. Some decent enough close ups, but I'll put this one up. Take enough photos and you will get the odd really good in-focus nicely-composed picture........
...but, in a reasonably easy target for photographing, it was difficult to get the eight Swans in the same shot, and even more difficult getting all 8 with their heads up because they were feeding as they swam.
So here's one of the rejects, if nothing else confirming once again that POTD welcomes all contributions, with no threshhold of photography skill required!
