The lead to the exhaust temperature sensor has broken but doesn't seem to have affected anything! Is there something I should look out for? It has been off quite a while!
thanks!

Re: Exhaust Temperature Sensor
That will be used for determining the temperature of the exhaust gasses so that the engine ECU knows when to start a regeneration cycle. If it's broken, the engine ECU may default to a backup value or it may cause the particulate filter to become blocked more quickly to the point where it can't regenerate at all. This is an earlier system on your vehicle so there is not a lot of data on it, but I would get it replaced or it may be storing up problems later on.
