Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
ABORCASHAATA appears around 5.02 into the episode Quality from Gordon Jackson too excellent performance adding the necessary seriousness to the ridiculousness of plot and the acronym, dont know how he keeps a straight face. The Castle in Castle De'ath is not way up in the highlands but is Allington Castle in the Garden of England.mickthemaverick wrote: ↑29 Jul 2020, 23:24 ABORCASHAATA

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Anyone care to entertain us with a quiz question
You could perhaps try this one while you are thinking..... Its from another Gerry Anderson/Silvia Anderson creation....
Fireball XL5......Absolutely jam packed with potential quiz questions.
Now the episode Forbidden Planet took my eye the other day. Its on youtube. Marc (givemeabreak) had referred to a Heisenberg compensator in a post on the Citroen section. Yes star trek reference to do with the "beam me up Scotty thing". Well Fireball XL5 "Forbidden Planet" heavily features an early "transporter".
Anyway I shall make my question easy.

Should you wish to view Fireball XL5 Forbidden Planet I have put a link on the OnTV thread

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Following Lewis Hamilton's record breaking win today here is a Formula 1 record associated question for you to ponder. It is of course easy to look up but does anyone know the answer?
Among Lewis' many records he is one of only two drivers who have won the F1 World Championship at only their second attempt. Who is the other?

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
As James nailed that one so fast here's a supplementary:
Which Formula 1 driver drove the most races without leading a race and how many races was it?
