Thanks Chris, the humble pencil has received its day in the sunshine on the FCF, and you have capped it off with an excellent set of pictures of a proper manual operated sharpening machine.

Bet you didnt think when you woke up this morning you would be photographing your pencil sharpener and publishing it to the entire globe :-D

..and come on ladies and gentlemen of the FCF, lets put Chris on 1000 likes today he is currently on 999, even if you detest pencil sharpeners you have to appreciate the Photography! I've already cast my vote up but such excellent work surely deserves a few more likes!

I bought a Morphy Richards 1950s hair drier from ebay sometime ago, they were so quiet, the only one I have ever come across with an induction motor. Excellent condition, just as I remember them when I used to repair them. About the only thing that ever failed was the start/run capacitor, this one works perfectly - only the wife says its to heavy. Also its only 600 watts, her modern one is 2000w :shock:
