Hi! I own a lovely little Citroën C2 who I take much pride in, but I don't know the first thing about mechanics and I was looking for some advice.
A few days ago I noticed that my car wasn't driving the way that it should, it didn't feel right. My engine light came on, I had 3 bars of fuel and "he" started feeling dead sluggish and it got me worried. My partner had explained that it's probably nothing major but we are getting a diagnostic run tomorrow. A day or so later as I was coming home from work, my car started feeling worse and then my engine management light started flashing at me. Of course a diagnostic will show me my problems but I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the issue could be, or how much approximately it would take to fix? I love my little car and I dont want to ruin "him".
HELP!

Re: HELP!
Hi
You are doing the right thing by starting with a diagnostic. Make sure that you write down or get a copy of any and all fault codes, then post them back here on your thread when you've got them and we'll be able to give you some indication of the fault(s).

Re: HELP!
When you do, please post up the vehicle VIN here as well (it will, for security reasons, be obscured so only Forum staff can read it). That way it will be possible to make a more detailed diagnosis.
Oh, to the Forum, by the way.

Re: HELP!
So this is a C2 1.1 i (TU1JP) with manual gearbox 5 speed.
Not all those codes seem quite right - P0711 is for a transmission temperature sensor - which I you won't have, so I suspect these codes are from a generic code reader.
Never mind - I would check the crank sensor - and also the coil /spark plugs as my first step as P0300 is a random or multiple cylinder misfire.
