DS 7 Crossback Fuse Box

Unread post by Christoff »

Can anyone tell me if there fuse box is also in this state, it’s really hard to get in and change the fuses. You can’t even see them! There hidden in the bottom left away from the opening.

We don't currently have parts info for the latest DS vehicles - but there is also a fuse box in the boot as I understand it. Everything is so compact in these, but be careful not to upset any connections. DOn't tell me something has gone wrong with it already?

Ahh no it’s all good, there’s one in the glove box and another in the engine compartment. I was fitting a hardline for my dash cam, managed to do it in the end but it was such a pain! I just really hope none of the fuses ever go 😂. Took me longer to fit the hardline in than it did to route the cables to the dash cam and rear camera that I’ve fitted.

Hi, I am about to hardwire a dashcam to my DS7. Could you tell what fuses you tapped in to. Thanks

Hello everyone don't want to create a new topic, could anyone tell me to which fuses have you tapped your dashcam or atleast provide a proper fuse box diagram as the one in DS manuals don't look the same. Thanks!!!

First decide if you need a switched supply (power only comes on with ignition on) or a permanent supply. A permanent supply is usually needed if your camera has a 'knock' or crash sensor that will activate the camera when it detects a vibration. The downside is these can drain your battery if you leave it on all the time.

Depending on what you decide, will determine which fuse you need. I suggest you use a piggy back fuse so your camera can be fused with the correct amperage needed without affecting the original fuse. I can't advise you on which fuses are which, but the clue will be on equipment that is only active when the ignition is on like electric seats, heated seats. 12V accessories may be permanent live for longer, but may still be switched off by the vehicle's economy mode after a certain time.
