Jane Freeman. I recognised her from Last of the Summer Wine, although I had to look up the cast list to get her name.

Lets look at the evidence, its an advert for John Smiths Yorkshire Bitter, its unlikely to be Lancashire.

Look at the blackened stonework.....the former dark satanic mills and the former coal fires mean is not going to be anywhere else but the West Riding :-D

One other clue it isnt where Last of the Summer Wine was mainly filmed.

Well I need this question nailed, and hopefully not by myself. The location is in Calderdale and freight trains of emnormous length thunder through the station on their way to Drax Powerstation carrying woodpellets collected from Liverpool after being shipped from the United States. The forum has featured this process. When the pellets get to Drax they grind them into a dust and burn them.

So where is the bridge?

Thanks for giving it a go Bobins but the bridge isnt over the River Calder...

That should help, but try a forum Query on "DRAX" the story of the pellets and the trains may help!

Keep going...I'm a bit bored with it now....need to get it out of the way for new stuff...

PS another angle could be the West Yorkshire leg of the Pennine Cycleway! We were very adjacent at one of the refreshment stops!

Would it have been in the village where a bowler hat mysteriously appeared on the lunch pub wall? :-D

This is what very very adjacent looks like...easily within a furlong of the bridge.

We have the reveal now Steve, Hebden Bridge, just waiting pedantically for the bridge name to be declared then its off to something else! Thanks for joining in, nice bridges and of course John Smiths does have a Tadcaster connection.

Well its only a tiny loose end....so we'll move on to this. Now if I was on the other side of the quizzing fence I think this should be fairly easy.

Where's this then?
