Looked at lots of options, would like a Volvo but they are, along with most others, very pricey currently.
Get an old one Steve!

I had an old crate like that - 265 GLE. I was looking at V60s for now though.
There is an S40 next door that hasn't moved in months, they have a C2 that is the only car they use (cheap to run) and I thought about annexing the Volvo. There is a pristine V70 up the road, in daily use but they seem very fond of it, it always sparkles.

Always liked the Xedos 9. Very pretty car.
Been there done that, and you are right it is very pretty but I had the Miller 2.3 version and it drank fuel like Neil and I drink beer!! :-D

Interesting but no. I may actually know the owner, used to work with his mother.
Suspension far too hard, fuel costs too high, insurance too high. My son - in fact both of them - would love it until they tried to get bikes in it.
Price is suspicious too.

I only want a bimblemobile© although it does need to be able to accommodate a mountain bike.
I would prefer to keep the C5 but it would be too uneconomical, as with any C5 now. I don't like the x7s. Considered a Pug 307/8 but many of the same problems. I know this extends to most makes and the newer the worser. May buy a pushbike and - no, that would never work :(

New shape leaf Taxi at a chargepoint we passed. We didnt bother charging up had enough in hand for our return journey. Never mind range extender petrol engines which the LEVC Taxis have, the 100% electric Taxi's in Northumberland are filling up on free fuel to help them with their profitability.

Been on a magical mystery tour in the vicinity of the Metro Centre, first looking for the place with the Mazda, which wasn't where I thought it was. Then trying to find it again when test driving the Mazda
Then trying to get back home and passing the place with the Mazda three times - and finding a huge tower full of Mazdas.
Hodgson Mazda
Hodgson Mazda
And a compound full of hundreds of them, finally got back on the A1 home.

There were probably many but saw none :(

Two Tesla Model 3's, one red, one white, a MG ZS-EV, many Leaf's in red and white and a London EV Company Taxi (plug in + range extender petrol engine)

The car in front is a TESLA model 3

REd Leaf, White Leaf, and for Leafs anyway a reasonable rarity a light blue on a 65 plate. You used to see quite a lot of earlier leafs that sort of colour.

Tesla Model 3's are more frequent recently than just once a week it is virtually every time you go somewhere resembling civilisation in the car, another white one yesterday, and there is a regular MGZS EV.

A white taxi which looked more like an overgrown C3 Picasso, had futuristic looking LED headlights and I think had LTEV or similar on the back between bootlid and rear window.!! :)

That'll be London Electric Vehicle Company LEVC

Their Taxis are built in Coventry, not welded but glued together, have an all electric powertrain, but also a range extender petrol engine and cost about £60,000 a piece. Clearly even at that price Taxi drivers can make them work. Saw one in the borders up at Jedburgh the other day.

Excellent programme on Building one on Channel 4 available here
