As a new C5 (X7) owner I would be grateful for some advice re the vehicle suspension height. My disabled wife struggles to get in and out of the vehicle but we have found that if the suspension is as low as it will go then it greatly assists her getting in and out of the vehicle. Unfortunately I am finding the height alters obviously to allow for normal height when the car is being driven and so doesnt remain at its lowest setting on parking. Now it maybe its because I am unfamiliar with the car that perhaps I am not adopting an available procedure that would make the vehicle's suspension drop each time on parking to the lowest level. Is it possible to permanently set the height to drop down as low as possible automatically when turning the engine off and also so it remains low until the vehicle is driven.
In case it assists with any advice I have today taken delivery of a Lexia 3 kit but obviously dont know yet how to use it.
Thanks for any advice.
Paul

Hi fellow Paul
As far as I am aware it's not possible to set up the routine you're asking for on the X7. Nor was it possible on the previous C5.
All you can do is to remember to use the Up/Down buttons to lower car every time you park as you have already been doing.

No, it's not possible and as you've ordered a Lexia kit - a warning: don't play with any settings - you can make your car inoperable if you change a parameter incorrectly. Some values must not be changed.
Do not change any suspension settings - especially the suspension heights. These have to be within the tolerances of the vehicle reference heights.
I suggest you read this first of all:

Re: C5 Suspension Height Change
Thanks for the info gents. I will just get used to manually lowering the vehicle to its lowest extent each time is going to be the answer.
I have printed off the useful advice Marc, regarding the use of the Lexia 3.
I use a similar system (Elm & Forscan) with my Ford and backup everything before making any changes.

Great, that will save you some potential pain.
I've had quite a few occasions where I've had to remote in to fix issues caused by incorrect programming of values and it can take ages to rectify.
