'99 Xantia 2.0 HDi Cabin Fuseboard

Post by Edhertz »

Has anyone had the pleasure of removing or gaining access to the rear of the cabin fuse board? The board looks like it could be opened by easing the bunch of clips round the top, but would there be enough movement to get to the rear?
Thanks in advance
Alan

The Xantia fuse board does come out. There should be a single red plastic tab to pull to unlock it. then it hinges down a bit and pulls out, but all with a lot of difficulty due to the number of wires attached to the back. I think that the clips you describe are for dismantling the box after removal.

Thanks for reply. I managed to pull the red tab forward but that is as far as things go. Unless I'm doing something wrong the fuse board remains firmly in place. Does the red pull tab thing come right out ?
Cheers in advance

It is a few years since I removed one, but the tab just moves a little bit then the edge of the fuse box nearest you should be free to be pulled down, but they are typically quite tight an awkward.
