So we have
Spoiler: show
Definites Richard Burton, Harold Wilson and Michael Parkinson
Likely George Harrison
No idea yet Try Jane Fonda although I think she should be from the UK looking at the others in your collection
I may have to try to guess the link with 3 or 4 :-D

I take it its the Lady who was wrong Mick.

Just can't get her at the moment and you put it as a one-spanner so she has to be in the top drawer of well-known-ness.

I have been paddling around the Cavern Club, and discover that Harold Wilson officially opened it (or re-opened it in 1966) so an incongruous link there if my paul mariner look alike was right, and you could have been reading the history of the Cavern Club. Sort of think thats a long shot but Burton may have darkened its doors as might Parky popping over the pennines and the lady may be a singer who has played there. The girl isn't LuLu is she?

Long shot

Missed!! The lady is a well known A lister but this picture is when she was younger than when she gained most of her fame! Nothing to do with the cavern club!
And while I have been typing this Bobins has nailed her! :-D

Is the link that Billy Connolly has been on TV/film with all of them ?
Billy was on NTNOcN with Pamela, interviewed by Parky about 300 times, and was in a film with Burton. Can't find a link with Wilson yet.

Turning that round Parky has interviewed Billy & Pamela together, interviewed Burton, Interviewed Harold Wilson and I presume interviewed George Harrison on his show!

The beatles did appear on one of his other shows too

" Parkinson is keen to point out that he has been “lucky to live through two great periods in popular music,” and he pinpoints the early 1960s, when The Beatles emerged, as the start of that second great period. Through his TV show, Scene at 6.30, which he presented at Granada, he got to know the Fab Four before they hit the bigtime.

“They were the house band,” he laughs. “When I first knew them, Paul McCartney asked for my autograph – for his mum! I wasn’t surprised that they made it big as they wrote lovely songs – you can trace the lineage back to the old songs I loved – but nobody expected the sort of world domination, the Beatlemania.”

Not sure George Harrison appeared on Parky's Chat show in any form. Never knew Michael Parkinson appeared on the cover of Wings "Band on the Run" album the title of which was inspired by a comment from George Harrison!

I think the link is evading us at the moment, I'm ready for a subtle clue!

Each picture was cropped and the link is what isn't there rather than what is!! Given earlier posts that should make part 2 fairly obvious and I will post the full pics up at 10.15 leaving part 3 to chew over! :-D
