C5 X7 headlight bracket repair kit part no

Post by C5-NON »

Hi,

Would is be possible to obtain the part number for the headlight bracket repair kit?. Apparently they are available from Citroen, you may of noticed they are designed to break in an impact (hence why so many broken bracketed 2nd hand items on eBay). I am missing a top bracket so intend to repair. Also, what are the possibilities to replacing the clear lens? rather than repairing a crack? i see it looks as though it will pop off with the clips being released (and silicone).

thanks

These are available depending on Left or Right hand Lamp. They come in a kit of 3 brackets, item (5), containing 'B', 'C' & 'D'
X7 Lamp Bracket.PNG
Right: 6212F1
Left: 6212F0 (zero)

These are £70.28 inc. VAT for each kit containing the 3 brackets.

As for the lens - I've never yet attempted a headlamp repair, as it was bad enough trying to repair water getting into one of my front fog units on these. Gave up after 3 attempts and bought a new one as it was doing my head in and kept misting up and filling with water. Now my other fog lamp unit has done the same, so I'm not going to bother and will just replace it. So good luck with the headlamp!
