308 1.6hdi in limp mode ☹️

Post by Sicskate »

Hi,

I hope all is well.

I've been trying to wrap my head around an issue I'm having with my 2008 308.

It's currently in limp mode, but will exit limp mode after a short journey on a duel carriageway.

It's showing an esp warning light, I've had the codes read,
I've got a U1208 for the esp
And a P1351 for the engine, which seems to be a glow plug fault, and probably not related?

I know the previous owner had exactly the same fault a few years ago, but he can't remember how it was resolved.

I'm wondering if anyone could help point me in the correct direction??

Many thanks
Ben.

Thanks 👍

I'll have a look through the thread, hopefully they reported back with an outcome??

EGR valve.... Check in the injection ECU for any EGR related faults.
