Hello Folks

Post by EJAP »

Hi. Glad to have joined as I have always a need for expertise in my pursuance of DIY Citroen maintenance.

So currently I drive a lovely 2008 Citroen C5 2ltr diesel (Although a spring broke yesterday, A post to be placed about this shortly). And we also have a C4 2015 driven by my wife.
Always had a Citroen in the family although I am a bit concerned that this C5 might be the last as future models are all a but SUV and normal. I love the Citroen wildness. Will it come back?
First car was a GSA X1 and how I wish I still had this! K'rchiiiing! Worth lots now. Bought it for £100 a few decades ago. But most favourite car was my BX 1.9GTI 4x4. Loved that motor.

Any hoo. Look out for me, lots of questions about my broken coil spring to come.

Thanks and all the best!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

We also have a pair of 2008 C5 estates, must be one of the best riding cars on the market - even with steel springs. Not the most reliable of cars but I am willing to put up with that for the comfort.

Hi EJAP and :welc:

I had a BX19 16V and it was a terrific car but as I've aged I've leant more towards the comfort and love my Mk1 C5 with proper suspension of course! :-D
Use the Board Index link above and have a good look round the forum not forgetting the Off Topic Chat Lounge (OTCL) where we tend to gather for quizzes, music, banter, and loads of laughs. You will also find an unbelievable level of technical expertise and factual information available. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
