Hello Bert, welcome to the forum.

You have done very well to keep your 405 roadworthy and to cover such mileage. I am sure you will be able to tell us much about the 405 as a result!

Hi Bert and :welc:

You have certainly racked up some hours behind your wheel and I'm guessing under the bonnet too!! :-D
Great to have you along, don't look on the forum merely as a technical advice centre as all sorts of things happen on here. Have a look round from the Board Index link above and join in wherever you fancy. The Off Topic Chat Lounge can be very entertaining, almost like spending a night down the pub!! But mainly they are a terrific bunch and you will find all the advice you may want (and some you won't! :-D ) Cheers
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Thank you! Yes I have been a lot of hours behind the steering wheel. In fact all of them (together with my wife), because I am the first owner.

Now it is not my "daily driver" anymore. When I bought my other car I decided to not sell the 405. I only take the car out for a ride when it is nice weather and when the trip is more than +/- 30 minutes. So most of the year it is parked in my garage. But when I drive the 405 I have a smile on my face: almost 30 years old, 11,5 times around the world and still driving great. Why would you buy a new car for that with a price of € 40.000?
