Hello guys I have a citroen nemo 1.4 hdi diesel and for the life of me I can't find the gearbox oil filler plug to top the oil up I've searched high n low and the only one I can find is the bottom Alan key nut which I assume is the drain plug as a ton of oil spued out which means its very low and I need to refill can anyone help me locate the fill plug please

If this is the manual gearbox, they are sealed for life - but if you have lost oil through undoing the drain cap then you are supposed to put in exactly the quantity that is taken out.

As you now no longer know how much oil has leaked out, you need to drain the gearbox and refill it so you don't over-fill it, or this can lead to excessive heat as the gears churn up the oil and increased aeration.

Capacity for Manual Gearbox on 1.4 HDi:
  • Gearbox empty: 2.1 litres.
  • After draining: 2 litres.
You'll need to gravity fill it from the vent hole (1):

Sorry for my first post being a question!
Could anyone tell me what grade the gearbox oil is for the Nemo I think it is 75/80

EDIT:

Just realised it's Gearbox Oil you wanted, (thanks Steve) - must have been having a male blonde moment.

The link I provided still provides the info under the gearbox section, and if you have a manual gearbox, then TOTAL TRANSMISSION BV 75W80 is what you need.
