Hello everyone.
Just signed up today after reading some superb advice about C1 ownership on here yesterday, which helped me decide on a C1 Vibe over a Nissan Pixo. Deposit paid and collecting tomorrow (fingers crossed).
Not our first French car. We inherited a Y reg Clio about two years ago and it is great. Wifey, myself and the kids love it.
I hope it is not rude to say but I really like the way French car makers 'do their own thing' and don't always follow the global herd.
Looking forward to enjoying the knowledge of the collective (way beyond mine).

Hello and welcome K . Apart from the tremendous wealth of knowhow on here there are also lots of other entertaining things to find. Have a look around the forum from the Board Index link above, including the off topic chat lounge which is where most of the amusement is to be found, and join in wherever and whatever takes your fancy.

Just so long as you know there's very little 'French' about it - it's a Toyota Aygo in disguise. Same as the Peugeot 107. All 3 are built in the Czech Republic at the same factory and have a few styling changes to differentiate (bumpers and lights mainly). But they are generally reliablekawasemi wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 14:07 Hello everyone.

I know, you are right and it applies to so many cars nowadays...but I'm hoping it will be the start of a relationship with 'French' cars that will progress along some exciting linesJust so long as you know there's very little 'French' about it - it's a Toyota Aygo in disguise. I've owned a petrol version C1 for just a year and so far it seems to be an easy car to work on. So far new front pads, discs and drop arms. First petrol car in the family since 1976.
