Lexia 3 stickers question

Post by ergonomie »

Hi,
finally... after my C4 Picasso (UD, VTI 120 engine, 2011 build) makes me crazy with ABS / ESP warnungs which I can't read with a generic OBD2 reader I got a "Lexia 3 full chip" package including Diagbox software.
I managed to get it installed on an old laptop and it also recognizes the box, I got the software updated till 7.58 so everything fine with that. But there are three stickers in the box too. What is the purpose of these? I see there are some empty spaces on the big adapter box but what are the number codes for?

Greetings

Don't worry about them - they put these in to try and give some authenticity to the unit which is a just clone of the original Actia unit.

9780Z5 is just a PSA part number - they do it to make it look authentic.

I always guessed the stickers being separate was a copyright thing. Your just buying a grey electronic box rather than an Actia component?
I have a WOW clone & all the decals for it came on a separate sheet too.

What vehicle(s) does a WOW clone cover? Just curious, like.

It's a generic OBD tool, not for a specific manufacturer, It can read all the ECU's on my X7 no problem & has programming capabilities. I believe the system is made by Delphi.

They include them because all grown up boys still love things that come with nice stickers!
