fuel pressure issues
i have a 2013 peugeot partner on which i have just had an injector replaced, trouble is since the replacement, the engine will not run.rail pressure according to the (snap on) scanner is 0 bar.the only fault code is p1199 "fuel circuit incoherence on the reserve fuel pressure(nearing no fuel)".there is plenty of fuel in the van and the filter has also been replaced and primed.mechanic has had it now for a week and is now talking about replacing the high pressure fuel pump but i am not convinced that a pump can fail like this.is there anything electrical that could of been disturbed or failed when the injector was replaced?

Re: fuel pressure issues
I had the same problem on a 2.0 HDI, after a long time messing about with the diagnostics and getting nowhere I returned to good old fashioned mechanics and carefully bled out the system step by step right up to the injectors and got it going.

Re: fuel pressure issues
These engines can be a pain in the back side to bleed once the fuel system has been disturbed. I take it the engine was running before the injector was replaced? Does the engine even attempt to kick? Have you tried 'persuading' it to start with easy start?

See my Post with the wiring diagram - click the purple link that says 'Electrical Wiring Codes'sassanach wrote: 25 May 2020, 19:24 ps excuse me for being thick but where is the component list for the above diagram?
That will take you to our wiki where I have put up most of these. The hardware codes are there, but the wiring ones won't be. There are 1000s, so too many to list. If you really get stuck (with wiring codes only), list them down in a single post, 1 per line please - but the components are on our wiki as per the link.

It looks like an error with the link (now fixed), try: https://frenchcarforum.co.uk/wiki/Elect ... ring_Codes

Re: fuel pressure issues
As I said before I think you have a bleed problem, if it will fire on easystart, there's likely a pocket of air trapped between the hp pump and the injectors, the pump is providing the pressure but instead of firing the injectors it is simply compressing the air pocket.
To get the air out I used an old petrol pump on the injector pipes one at a time to suck fuel right to the injectors then a blast of easystart to fire it up and away it went.
It's run fine ever since.
