I shouldn't be too far away. Can you get me a Radler in please, Neil.
And an easy quiz question for you - why would I be drinking a Radler ? :)
Maybe because of this?:
Spoiler: show
The term Radler originates with a drink called Radlermass (literally “cyclist liter”) that was originally created by Innkeeper Franz Kugler in a small town named Deisenhofen, just outside Munich. During the great cycling boom of the Roaring Twenties, Kugler created a bicycle trail from Munich, through the woods, which led directly to his drinking establishment. On a beautiful June day in 1922, a reported “13,000 cyclists” crashed Kugler’s party. Fast running out of beer, he blended it 50/50 with a lemon soda he could never seem to get rid of, and the rest is history.

Bingo, but it ideally needs to be made with a German helles beer if they've got any on tap :-D

By an astonishing stroke of luck, and as a fitting beer to go with my picture of the day, they've got Blackbeard on tap from The Watermill Brewery, Windermere - so I'll try a pint of that, please :)

I'll have a sup of this then down to the indian, and back to the Stone Trough. We pass quite close to Ribblehead Viaduct on the next leg, I may whizz off just far enough to get a pic then back on the planned trail. Its country I am familiar with and Dent the target for the day is a very picturesque little place.

Bit disappointed in the names of some of the Lancashire beers....the Burnley Brewery Moorhouse names quite a few of them after motorways.... One to link with East Lancs big connection with Cricket.
