By an astonishing stroke of luck, and as a fitting beer to go with my picture of the day, they've got Blackbeard on tap from The Watermill Brewery, Windermere - so I'll try a pint of that, please

Re: On Your Virtual Bike:The Pennine Cycleway (&quiz)
They have a fair selection here at McCulloughs so Blackbeard for Bobins, Marstons Pedigree for me, Thwaites for Bob and you Neil?
While you make up your mind I'm going to put some music on as the group are having a break!

Re: On Your Virtual Bike:The Pennine Cycleway (&quiz)
I'll have a sup of this then down to the indian, and back to the Stone Trough. We pass quite close to Ribblehead Viaduct on the next leg, I may whizz off just far enough to get a pic then back on the planned trail. Its country I am familiar with and Dent the target for the day is a very picturesque little place.
Bit disappointed in the names of some of the Lancashire beers....the Burnley Brewery Moorhouse names quite a few of them after motorways.... One to link with East Lancs big connection with Cricket.
Cheers Neil
