Hi
I have a 2001 Relay SWB which I am converting into a campervan.
The passenger seat is a two seat version. I would really like to replace this with a single seat and / or a swivel plate so it turns to face the rear of the van.
I can find plenty of help and parts for the newer relays but nothing about my older van
Does anyone have experience of replacing or altering the passenger seats in an older Relay?
Alternatively does anyone have a newer relay and would be willing to let me have the measurements of the passenger seat bolts so I can tell if the kits for newer relays would fit

Re: Citroen Relay 2001 Passenger Seat
Hi Reyno I only have the 2002-06 model. From what I remember the passenger double is the same bolt pattern as the driver single. I think with mine I bought a single driver base and made a c8 / Ulysses / 806 pair of swivlers fit with minor adjustments.
All I need now is a cheap safe way to remove steering wheel quickly !
See if your passenger and driver seats are same bolt pattern ?
John
I can measure tomorrow if I can remember !

Hi John
Yes I think the passenger and driver bolt positions are identical - but I can’t find a swivel kit for either.
If you could measure your bolt positions that would be kind as I have seen swivel plates for your version

Re: Citroen Relay 2001 Passenger Seat
the 3 vehicles I mentioned all came with swivel front seats (for some models), so may be worth looking on ebay for breakers.. basically, I put those seats on my original bases/frames as you need the height
will measure in a bit, although I think you need to bolt pattern on top of the seat frame, which may be a bit obscured on mine, and I had to redrill at least 2 of the bolt holes.

Re: Citroen Relay 2001 Passenger Seat
my seat base has 33cm across x 34cm front to back, for the bolts into the floor
the original holes in the top of the base are 40 across and 30 front to back, its not easy to measure though. My 2 new outer holes in the top are about 1cm further inboard I think, to fit the seat rails into.
