3 stud wheels

Post by doctle »

I'm sure one of you guys can answer this question. Out of boredom I'm making a car trailer. I been offered an axle, he says is made with hubs off a French car, it has only 3 wheel nuts, what car is it off? Any clue as to wheel size? Are bearings etc available if needed? Mucho thanks

I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Might not be 2 CV. early/base model Renault 4, very early Renault 5, I think even Simca 1100, had 3 bolt wheels. Maybe more.

Visa was mostly 3 stud as well. You'd need to measure the PCD to have some idea what you were looking at.

I think they are too big and would look a little odd on a 6ft trailer. In other news I'm like 3 studs myself!
