Hi.
I've finally decided to have a go at fixing my driver's window that has been wedged shut with a piece of wood for the last 3 years!
I've managed to get everything in place, but am having problems with the rubber grommet that is push fitted into the hole in the window where the plastic clip is attached.
I think the grommet is so badly perished that when I raise the window it pops straight out.
Does anyone know where I can get a new one from please?

Hi Pete the bus.
This link to an ebay item is what you need, seems a bit expensive compared to the Citroen dealer price which is around £4.

I found the easiest way to reassemble was fit the rubber bush to the glass using the wire spring and then push the spigot of the plastic clip through until the wire spring snaps into the groove.
Good luck, it's fiddly and I've done it several times on my Xantia.

If I remember correctly, S1 and S2 xantias have different clips, and a different hole in the glass, and are not mix and match, so beware.

Perfect, thanks.electronmirror wrote: ↑23 Apr 2020, 21:26 Hi Pete the bus.

I've been doing it slightly differently in that I fit the rubber bush to the glass, then push it onto the spigot and only then fit the clip. Very fiddly, yes, but I think your method sounds better.
I'll see if the local stealer has any in stock, but good to know there's some available.
I had tried searching, but didn't really know what it was called.
It is a series 2 SX with the "comfort" window mechanism, so the one you have pointed to should fit.
