This is what we all need, pure punditry from our man on merseyside. Brilliant work Paul, though I have to admit it did raise my own concerns about the health of my equipment and furniture so I asked the bed if it was ready should I need to spend unexpected time in it, but I was reassured by the quilt who piped up that he had me covered! The pillows joined in and promised to support me through thick and thin and the bedside lamp promised to brighten my days should it be necessary. I was going to ask the house plant what it thought but then I realised, only loonies and princes talk to plants!! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I can claim no original credit as it was shamelessly filched!

Just had a chat with various engines about what I should do if I feel poorly. My C4 petrol told me get an 'octane injection'. The Riley said 'get some carbs' and the Landy said 'get more drive'

I think I should get practised with flying my drone. I have a reasonable back garden to try it in.

You'll have to get your surveyor's tape out first to see if you infringe anyone

The drone (without the additional camera) weights 34g. It has a range over 100 meters (the garden is not that long), and is quite agile.

Contagion (Steven Soderbergh, 2011)
Contagion has apparently been added to the Netflix roster. So, if you have a Netflix subscription, you can watch a film which keeps closer to scientific accuracy than most.

I saw that "Contagion" was to be shown on several TV channels.

When it was mentioned I thought that I had ordered it but when it arrived I had actually sent for "The Quiet Earth", which is now sitting in the pile of DVDs yet to be watched.

SWMBO is going to have a coffee morning today - don't ask!

I have been asked to go outside and sit on the terrace with a book (and the dogs) for the duration. I'm happy with that!

The house was cleaned to within an inch of its life yesterday. Everything. Vacuumed, mopped, windows cleaned tables polished, all ready for the grand event. Triangular sandwiches have been made already this morning and what biscuits we have are now on pretty plates. She has just got out her 'good' clothes and is in the shower.

Now I know you will all be concerned about people travelling unnecessarily and social distancing during the very strict Spanish lockdown. Don't be.

They are having it on a conference call type thing..........

You couldn't make it up.
