Citroen AX Not Starting sometimes

My 91 Ax GT Starts sometimes, sometimes slow. Other times i turn the key, hear the switch behind the dash as normal, but nothing happens. Ive replaced the battery with a heavy duty one, it worked for a while, then stopped working. If i leave the car for a couple of hours it works fine.

Its sounds like that there is a problem with your starter motor, the soleniod may be sticking occasionally by the sound of things
