Re: Hi from Northumberland
Hello, and to the Forum. New York, Northumberland has been around a bit longer than New York, USA. Not having been to either I think I would still prefer the original.

Re: Hi from Northumberland
Hi and welcome to the forum.
I have run hydropnumatic Citroens since the CX in the '80s, through XM's and BX's. Didn't care much for the C5 when it first came out but now have two of the later C5 X7 estates and they are brilliant - even on steel springs, ride like nothing else they make now.
Well done on discovering the Citroen ride - nothing like it.

Re: Hi from Northumberland
There is a New York near Shiremoor which is in North Tyneside part of the now defunct, but often referred to 1974 creation of Tyne and Wear. Walk trough the Tyne Pedestrian tunnel and the mid point is marked with Durham/Northumberland.
So our new member Ramond could come from New York (lets say England), and describe it as Northumberland as in his post introduction.
My guess is someone from New York (England) would not introduce himself that way.
So I suspect Ramond is from here, literally Northumberland (the town) New York State!

Apologies if everyone else got this, and there was no need for me to give my own interpretation.
Come on Ramond.....post number 2 from you required
Regards Neil

OK, let's start again.
Hi, Ramond, and welcome!
We're a friendly and sometimes knowledgeable bunch here, so you could be in good company.
Do post a pic or two of your XM, and maybe confirm where you're based.
Depending whether it's New York or New York, the XM could be a rare sight, or a very rare sight indeed.
Looking forward to more posts from you.

Just a thought Admins
I've noticed that whenever I create a 'new post' I have to manually select 'subscribe' to be notified of a response.
Would it be easy to change the default to 'unsubscribe' if say..... said nutters were unwelcome
Ramond may not even know he's ignoring us

ramond's account deactivated, it appears he wasn't altogether truthful and is in fact in Mumbai, which is a long way from either New York.
