Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Only just hit your Hide button for that Range Rover, Neil (homest!).
What a gorgeus thing. Had forgotten how utilitarian the early ones were, and full of parts-bin items.
The original interior was designed not just for green wellies, but also to be hosed out.
An amazing piece of David Bache styling.
The latest incarnations just look like overdressed black cabs!

A token POTD as nothing has turned up yet!
Noticed a smell in my friend's conservatory and folded back the carpet:

We genuinely came across this in the countryside yesterday. Maybe it's the source of our current problems
Sadly no longer a C5 owner

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
And so I have reached the mini-landmark 1500th post!! In keeping with my celebratory car pictures I thought I'd post a rather rare one to see if anyone knows what it is. Certainly more interesting than a Wolseley 1500 or Spitfire 1500!! So what do you think?

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I'll put you on 499 likes Mick, but 1500 posts and 500 likes is quite a satisfying number noticers conjunction.
So I'll hang fire liking a couple of your jokes to let the 500 be brought up by another of the FCF faithful

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
As for your pic....my first thought was is it an old Mazda? then was it a version of something like a Triumph from South Africa/Australia/New Zealand.
Cant be more accurate than that....the badge is on display but inconclusive.
Off to google search

Well I was closer with the Mazda than the rest although the Austin Victoria from South Africa does have some similaritiesNewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑22 Mar 2020, 20:14 As for your pic....my first thought was is it an old Mazda? then was it a version of something like a Triumph from South Africa/Australia/New Zealand.
