Jim, UPDATE

Post by Stickyfinger »

Good morning all 😀 I'm still here and I feel recovery is progressing, albeit slowly. I'm feeing totally and utterly exhausted and doing this post is as much as I can do. Feels like I'm in a big ME relapse. To be expected. Please excuse me if I don't respond to messages and replies. Going more or less offline. I'll be read-only for a while. I will keep you all updated.

Added by me:
I have spoken to Jim this morning, his sprit is high (despite his "ME knock-down feeling")...he has been VERY VERY lucky and knows it....he is a trooper with great inner strength and will get better.

Please post any messages here and not on his own FB-page:----- just to keep the constant alerts from his home page lower (ping ping ping all the time from a phone :) )...he is checking when he feels good and I am passing on ALL of the best wishes

Cheers peeps

Hello there, Jim. Thanks for the update, and our every good wish to you for recovery.
You have indeed been A Very Naughty Boy, but we always knew we could rely on an Audi driver to be beyond naughty.
Take care, rest up, and get better. :hug1:

Hi Jim,
I became active on the FCF in May last year, not long after you stopped posting but by reading the archives it didn't take long for me to realise what an FCF legend you are.! =D> =D> =D>
I hope you make a full and rapid recovery from your accident and, like the rest of the fantastic chaps on here, I'd love to read some more of your postings. All the best :) :)

Jim always produces a nice "turn of phrase". I dug out a greatest hits of his derogatory terms for PSA's finest brand acquisition here....

Hey Jim was thinking of something to say that would be witty and fun but then that would break the habit of a lifetime.

All i can say is what Hell said sums it all up for me :)

From Jim Eastment
Happy to report I'm home from hospital and no longer have to resort to having Costa coffee smuggled in and then drinking it through a straw 😂 I must say after MK Hospital coffee that cup of Costa tasted like nectar
