You may have missed some of the finer details gentlemen :-D

Anyone know much about Japanese Woodwork?
Spoiler: show
"The polycarbonate used in the Ariya's shield is the same as what's used in the headlights, just opaque, with some metallic flakes in the paint to create the distinctive kumiko pattern (kumiko is a Japanese term for a woodworking technique that makes a pattern) that fits within the company's Timeless Japanese Futurism design language. Nissan designers have compared the look of the Ariya shield to a "sheet of silent water" with a still pattern underneath."

Reads rather like a William Burroughs manuscript.

A sheet of silent water . . . just like the garage floor after a bit of a coolant leak. :-s

VW reckon they are onto a winner with the ID3.

ID.3: just as inexpensive as a car with an internal combustion engine

Silke Bagschick, Head of Sales and Marketing, e-mobility Product Line, commented:

“The price is no longer an argument against but rather an argument for the electric car. Leasing offers make the changeover easy and reduce uncertainty. In future, the electric car will also be attractively priced even without subsidies.”
