Phew that's a relief Van !! lol

Didn't notice the Fiat, looks surprisingly 'sound' in that shot (though most likely it isn't). Surprising to think its related to the 124 Saloon, which we of course knew best as a 3 Box Lada

progress has been slow, but steady.... ish.

I've discovered the enjoyment (sic) of connecting up various electrical feeds multiple times, having fitted a feed, then found that something else should've been connected first so that the Looms 'reach' and can be kept suitably tidy, free from chaffing one another and away from Heat Sources

and I've also learnt that ZX and 405 boxes have different fittings relating to the Gear Selector Rods, this wouldn't've been too much of a problem had I discovered this before fitting the ZX 'box, but in situ it was blooming awkward to sort.

Hmm.... no power reaching the Stop Solenoid. Any suggestions?

Temporarily fixed by running a feed direct from the Battery

tis connected and does have the correct two connectors on it. Solenoid is operating normally but getting no feed.

just a moment's 'revisit' to 'finish' this Thread.

All's well. The issue on March 14th turned out to simply be the Accident Fuel Cut off thingy, where you have to press the under-bonnet Button to restore electrical power to the Stop Switch. The old girl's back to rude health and ready for serious use

...unfortunately Coronavirus has other ideas, so its not doing much mileage at the moment.

I've also taught been busy with the spare engines and one of the Heads have been stripped, Skimmed and rebuilt, with appropriate improvised tooling for Valve Removal and holding that pesky Cam Belt Tensioner Plunger in place.

I was also fortunate to just about 'beat' the Corona-Virus and I have a huge section of car to deal with some rust I found on the OSF, at a later date. The welder's going to continue to gather dust for a good while yet though.

I'm going to be looking for a number starting with a '4' for my Category S 206 1.4HDi on a 55 plate, with dozens of photos detailing its (Amateur) repair. PM me for details.
