Anyone can explain me (Givemeabreak for sure can ) what does the abbreviations BVA,BVM and MAD found on the service manual (or Servicebox) mean ?
BVA and BVM sound to me like "automatic gears" and "manual gears", but MAD ? (for example descriptions like "Since MAD 1036789")
thanks
Dave

Yes, BVA is an automatic gearbox, BVM is a manual gearbox and DAM is the old Peugeot build date code. It is now replaced with RPO as Citroen always had.
Boîte de vitesse automatique (BVA)
Boîte de vitesse manuelle (BVM)
Boîte de vitesse automatique (BVA)
Boîte de vitesse manuelle (BVM)
