Key Codes

Unread post by DHallworth »

I need the key code for my newly acquired C6 to reprogram a key. Does anybody know of a method of obtaining it other then the dealer?

Glasgow Citroen have become useless these days and are virtually impossible to get hold of by telephone.

Thanks,

David.

They'll only give it in person anyway David, proof of ownership, ID and Address docs. needed for security. The only other way is a dump by someone with appropriate hardware / software.

David,

Is it Arnold Sharks the dealership ?

If so I'm not surprised their customer service is questionable at least.

Mine was £25 plus vat (£30) last year.

Unfortunately not, it's Robin's and Day! They've moved all their parts stuff to Allied in Glasgow which is on the other side of Glasgow from the dealer and is a pain in the ar$e to get to. They've made all the parts guys bar 1 redundant and it's impossible to get hold of them on the phone now.

Robins and Day are in Finnieston Street, Glasgow. Allied Parts are in Possilpark Industrial Estate, Glasgow.

What about Arnold Sharks in Linwood?
They are a lot closer to you & far easier to get to surely?

They're just as useless unfortunately! They had my C5 in for 3 weeks when the wiper motors packed in!
